To celebrate playwright and poet Aphra Behn, join playwright and teaching artist Mary Hall Surface at the National Gallery of Art. Meet female trailblazers of 20th century art, then explore all the possibilities — the “ors"— that the paintings inspire once you look closely, wonder, and imagine. A creative writing workshop designed for writers of all levels, for lovers of art, and the curious.
NOTE:
Plan to arrive at 2:45pm and meet us at the East Building of the National Gallery of Art. Bring a notebook and writing utensil. Check that you can use them easily on your lap, as we will have chairs but not tables.
