ALLISON ARKELL
STOCKMAN
Founding Artistic Director
Allison (she/her) won the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Director of a Musical (Helen Production) in 2016 for her work on Avenue Q. She has directed 33 Constellation productions including The School for Lies, Incognito, Mysticism & Music, Children of Medea, The White Snake, Master and Margarita, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, The Wild Party, The Arabian Nights, Urinetown, Journey to the West, The Fire and The Rain, ABSOLUTELY! {perhaps}, The Love of the Nightingale, 36 Views, Gilgamesh, Taking Steps, Metamorphoses, The Ramayana, The Green Bird, Women Beware Women, Three Sisters, A Flea in Her Ear, A Dream Play. Allison has directed readings and workshops for Theater J and the Kennedy Center. A Drama League Directing Fellow and a member of the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab, Allison holds an MFA in Directing from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and a BA in Comparative Religion from Princeton.

ANDERSON WELLS
Managing Director
Anderson (they/them) has been working as a performer, producer, teacher, and administrator in the DC theatre scene since 2013. Prior to joining the Constellation team, they spent several years as Studio Acting Conservatory’s Education Manager. They have also worked with Arena Stage, Arts on the Horizon, Brave Spirits Theatre, Encore Stage and Studio, The Hub, The Klunch, Pinky Swear Productions, Rep Stage, Silver Spring Stage, Solas Nua, Studio Theatre, Treehouse for Creative Kids, and The Welders. Anderson is also the Founding Artistic Director of Highball Productions. They can be found performing across the country as their drag persona, Vagenesis. As a drag artist, they have won multiple titles including becoming the first ever National Bearded Empress.

ASHLEY
HAAS
Development Manager
Ashley (she/her) is a fundraiser with extensive experience in mission-driven development. At Constellation Theatre Company, Ashley leads individual giving, grant strategy, and donor engagement, while maintaining visual brand identity and institutional messaging. Before joining Constellation, she managed fundraising initiatives and donor programs for organizations including the National Park Foundation, Prosperity Now, and Compassion & Choices. Ashley holds a BA in Art History from Florida State University. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the city with her dogs, Olive & Martini, and creating art through a variety of mediums.

WERMERSKIRCHEN
Production Manager
Will (he/him) is thrilled to join Constellation Theatre Company as Production Manager. Before joining Constellation, Will worked in architectural lighting design and served as a Production Manager at The Kennedy Center and Theater Alliance in Washington, DC. Will holds a Master’s in Leadership for Creative Enterprises from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and a Bachelor’s in Theatre Production and Design from Illinois State University in Normal, IL.

MARTIN
Nick (he/him) made his directorial debut at Constellation with Melancholy Play: A Contemporary Farce (Helen Hayes Nomination for Outstanding Director of a Play). Recent local credits include Capital Fringe: Andromeda Breaks, FringePOP; Source Festival: Perfect Arrangement, Math, Limit: a Function of word and thought; Rorschach Theatre: Klecksography. Assistant credits include Constellation Theatre Company: The Skin of Our Teeth, Peter and the Starcatcher, Urinetown; Olney Theatre Center: Carmen: An Afro-Cuban Jazz Musical; Signature Theatre: Cabaret, Sunday in the Park with George, Beaches, Crossing. Nick graduated from the College of William & Mary with a BA in Theatre and Mathematics.

AYSHA
ZACKRIA

Aysha (she/her) is a queer Pakistani-American dramatist, writer, and musician. Prior to joining Constellation, she was the Lin-Manuel Miranda Family New Work and Artistic Producing Fellow at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. During her time at Woolly, she served as Dramaturg on Venus by Steve Yockey, as well as Associate Dramaturg and Line Producer on other mainstage productions. In 2024, she was a Literary Fellow at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. She has written several plays that examine social issues, including Pillow Fortress which received a workshop production by Peregrine Theatre Company in March 2026. In all of her pursuits, she hopes to amplify opportunities for societal growth through creation. She graduated with a BFA in Dramaturgy from Carnegie Mellon University.

Liam Fisher (he/him) is a Technical Director, Scenic Designer, and Performer. He graduated from Florida Southern College, earning 2 B.F.A.‘s in Musical Theatre and Technical Theatre with a focus in Scenic Design. Some of his technical work includes Spring Awakening, The Cottage, Next to Normal, Boeing Boeing, On Golden Pond, The Full Monty, Newsies, Ring of Fire, Othello, Tempest, and Beauty and The Beast! He has performed in a number of productions across the country including Once, Beautiful: The Carol King Musical, Escape to Margaritaville, and A Chorus Line. He has worked at such theatres as Relic Theatre, the Forestburgh Playhouse, and Florida Repertory Theatre.

OLIVIA CHOLEWCZYNSKI

Olivia (she/her) graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Musical Theatre from American University. She has since worked as an actor, teaching artist, and scenic artist in the DMV. Some recent acting credits include Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead with Nu Sass Productions, Paper Dreams with Imagination Stage, and Playboy of the Western World with Silver Spring Stage. Olivia is also on the Board of Directors for Wildwood Summer Theatre, a completely youth-run community theatre company that nurtures young talent in the DMV. When she's not practicing theatre, Olivia loves to write, go to concerts, and visit aquariums.
