Our season opens in October with the delicious revenge tragedy Women Beware Women, by Thomas Middleton, one of Shakespeare's contemporaries. In a captivating world of wealth, three couples engage in a dangerous game of strategy as they vie for power and pursue their lust. Enjoy this provocative mix of dark comedy, adultery, murder, ambition and twisted love.

In February, Nick Olcott directs the delightful comedy On the Razzle, by celebrated playwright Tom Stoppard, master of brilliant wit and wordplay. Two curious shop clerks seize the day and caper off to Vienna to find adventure and excitement. Passionate romance, run-ins with the law, mistaken identity, mayhem and all sorts of hilarious high jinx ensue.

The Green Bird, by Carlo Gozzi opens in May. Rooted in the world of commedia dell'arte, this fantasia includes a lovesick king, a greedy fortune teller, an insatiable sausage-maker, a seductive statue and a magical green bird. This vibrant world combines philosophical ideas about truth, love, sacrifice and compassion with inventive physical comedy and the sensational live music of Helen Hayes Award recipient Tom Teasley.
